Hybrid Fitting

Long irons are the hardest clubs in the bag to hit consistently for most golfers. A properly fit hybrid closes that gap with a higher launch and more forgiveness — but only if its loft, length, and shaft actually match the yardage and trajectory you need.

Replacing the Right Irons, Not Guessing

The most common hybrid fitting mistake is choosing loft based on the iron number it's "replacing" rather than the actual carry distance gap it needs to fill. We measure your longest comfortable iron and your shortest fairway wood, then find the hybrid loft that bridges the real distance gap between them.

We also compare hybrid head shapes — more iron-like versus more wood-like — against your turf interaction, since players who sweep the ball often prefer a different sole design than players who take a divot.

What We Test

Head Shape, Shaft, and Adjustability

Head Shape

Compact, iron-like heads suit players who want to shape shots and work the ball; larger, rounder profiles favor a higher, more forgiving launch.

Shaft Profile

Hybrid shafts sit between iron and wood weight classes — we test where your tempo and transition actually respond best.

Adjustable Hosels

Many hybrids allow loft and lie adjustment after purchase, which we can dial in during your session rather than guessing at a static spec.

Close Your Long-Iron Gap

Hybrid fitting sessions run 45–60 minutes and typically include comparisons against your current long irons and fairway woods.
